White Fences
White Fences is a gated community situated in western Loxahatchee. With its sprawling upscale homes and horse farms, it is one of the more prestigious equestrian communities in the region. Construction began in 90s, and today it is made up of approximately 50 single family homes. All lots are zoned Agricultural Residential, and lot sizes range from 5 to 30 acres. A wide variety of home sizes and design styles are represented. The property association manages miles of horse trails throughout the community, and many residents enjoy keeping horses, goats, chickens, and other animals in a serene, spacious environment. The community is managed by White Fences Property Owners Association, Inc., which provides gated security, maintains the trails, and hosts a series of community events and shows. Per county ordinances, living in RVs is prohibited, and all animals must be leashed or secured. Loxahatchee is a rapidly-growing area in Palm Beach County, and allows for more relaxed, rural living in comparison to the rest of South Florida. Families enjoy visiting the nearby Lion Country Safari, shopping at The Mall at Wellington Green, or attending a show at iThink Financial Amphitheatre. Lake Okeechobee is a half hour drive to the west, and the Florida Turnpike is 13.5 miles to the east.
