Villages of Oriole
The Villages of Oriole is a series of 55+ communities situated in western Delray Beach. Construction began in the mid-70s, continued throughout the 80s, and there are thousands of homes in total. The majority of homes are a mix of attached condos or villas, with some high-rise condos available. In the center of the villages, Avalon Trails is currently being built, which features customizable single family homes and attached villas. Each neighborhood is governed by its own separate association, while the Villages of Oriole itself provides security and a free shuttle system that services all communities within. Villages of Oriole is located near a range of transportation options: I-95, the Florida Turnpike, and the Tri-Rail/Brightline train systems are all within 5 miles. South Florida excitement is also available at every turn - Delray Marketplace was recently constructed right down the road, and Downtown Delray and the beach are 6 miles to the east.
