The Pines of Delray is an active 55+ community made up of 4-unit and 8-unit condos and villas. Villas are single-story, and condo buildings are two floors with outdoor walkways and no elevators. Constructed in the mid-70s, there are 684 units in total. Units are 1 or 2 bedrooms/bathrooms, and feature eat-in kitchens, in-unit laundry, and spacious screened balconies or lanais. The community is governed by The Pines of Delray Association, Inc., which provides cable, upkeep, and fosters an active resort-style community with a number of specialty clubs and organizations. There are multiple pools and tennis courts, billiard tables, fitness rooms, and more. The association does not allow pets or commercial/recreational vehicles, and it provides one parking space per unit. Leasing is not permitted during the first 18 months of ownership. The Pines of Delray is near I-95 and the Tri-Rail/Brightline train systems, and is mere miles from the ocean and all of Downtown Delray's premier nightlife.
