Sugar Sands is a waterfront, 55+ community on Singer Island in Riviera Beach. It faces Lake Worth Lagoon and the Intercoastal Waterway. The northern half of the community is partially bordered by a canal lined with over 80 private docks that enjoy easy ocean access. It is made up of 344 condo units across 2 and 3-story buildings. Only the 3-story buildings contain elevators, but all buildings provide common laundry facilities and one parking space per unit. Units range from 987 to 2,662sqft, and feature 1 to 4 bedrooms, 1 to 4 bathrooms, and balconies or screened outdoor seating. The community is managed by Sugar Sands Condominium Association, Inc., which provides cable, maintenance, insurance, and a range of amenities. An active clubhouse is surrounded by a large sparkling pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard, BBQ pavilion, and more. The Association allows one small dog (under 24lbs), two cats, and caged fish or birds. Boat slips are purchased at $3/linear foot of slip, up to 40ft, and may be leased. Singer Island is surrounded by outdoor recreation, relaxed local dives, and the lush John D. MacArthur State Park. Across the bridge to the west are the full range of renowned South Florida shopping (Palm Beach Outlets), and entertainment (Clematis Street). For commuters, I-95 and the Tri-Rail/Brightline train systems are both within 5 miles, and Palm Beach International airport is within 10 miles.
