Palm Club Co-op is a gated 55+ boating community in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. It prides itself on offering the "best of both worlds": an active, social waterfront co-op that also offers single family homes - which is a rarity near the ocean. Constructed in the late 50s, there are 99 homes in total. Square footage ranges from 1,606 to 3,240sqft, with both 2 and 3 bedroom floor plans available. Additional common features include updated open concept floor plans, 1 or 2 car garages, hi-impact windows, and outdoor patios. The community is managed by Palm Yacht and Beach Club, Inc., which provides common area maintenance, lawn care, and house painting/roof cleaning every 5 years. Amenities include a newly refurbished beach clubhouse, pool, private beach, and common dock for watercraft up to 46ft in length. Boat slips are provided on a first come, first serve basis, and provide ocean access with no fixed bridges. Additionally, residents with waterfront sites are entitled to dock space behind their home. The association allows 2 small pets, and places restrictions on non-passenger vehicles. Please note that Palm Club Co-op residents need to travel 2-3 miles to reach bridges to the mainland, which may cause longer commutes or errand runs. However, there is no shortage of charming shopping, restaurants, and nightlife in downtown Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.
