Lime Bay is an active 55+ community in eastern Tamarac. Constructed in the mid 70s, it is made up of 756 units across a series of 3-story condo buildings. There are three floorplans available, ranging from 700 to 950sqft. Buildings feature outdoor catwalks, elevators, shared laundry facilities, and screened balconies or Florida rooms. The community is managed by 4 separate condo associations, each with their own set of rules and amenities (see below under Association Information for more details. Each association also places financial requirements on buyers (minimum income, credit score, etc.). Each section has its own clubhouse, social director, pool, and tennis/shuffleboard courts. One assigned parking space is provided, with guest parking available. Lime Bay offers easy access to pristine nature preserves, houses of worship, professional golf courses, and top-notch outlet shopping at Sawgrass Mills. The Florida Turnpike is only a few miles away, and Downtown Fort Lauderdale is a little over 10 miles to the east.
