Las Verdes is an active, secure 55+ community located in central Delray Beach. Constructed throughout the 80s, there are 1,232 homes in total. Las Verdes is built around a large, beautiful lake in its center. Surrounding the lake are 10 three-story condo buildings, which feature assigned parking, elevators, outdoor walkways, screened balconies, and extra storage space. Surrounding that are seven sections of single-story attached villas. Villa residents have attached garages instead of assigned parking. Each building and section has its own separate managing association, which is governed by Las Verdes Property Owners Association, Inc. The POA provides 24-hour security, a manned gatehouse, community grooming and upkeep, and a range of amenities including an active clubhouse with frequent parties, events, and special interest clubs. They also feature a full fitness center, multiple pools, tennis courts, lakefront walking paths, and more. The Association does not allow pets. Las Verdes is located very close to I-95 and the Tri-Rail/Brightline train systems, and is less than 5 miles from the beach. A few miles to the northeast, Downtown Delray provides an endless supply of premier entertainment, shopping, and restaurants.
