Las Flores Ranchos is a rural community of single family homes in Loxahatchee. Lot sizes range from 5 to just over 10 acres, all of which are zoned as Agricultural Residential. The property association manages miles of horse trails throughout the community, and many residents enjoy keeping horses, goats, chickens, and other animals in a serene, green environment. Construction began in the early 90s. There are many floorplans and design styles represented, ranging from modest ranch homes to sprawling upscale estates. Las Flores Ranchos Property Owners Association, Inc. keeps association dues low, only providing trash removal and trail maintenance. Per county ordinances, living in RVs is prohibited, and all animals must be leashed or secured. Any additional construction must be submitted to the Architectural Review Committee for approval. Loxahatchee is a rapidly-growing area in Palm Beach County, and allows for more relaxed, nature-oriented living in comparison to the rest of South Florida. Families enjoy visiting the nearby Lion Country Safari, shopping at The Mall at Wellington Green, or attending a show at iThink Financial Amphitheatre. Lake Okeechobee is a half hour drive to the west, and the Florida Turnpike is 10 miles to the east.
