Lake Eden
A branch of the Lake Ida waterways, Lake Eden, is an all-age Florida neighborhood with 136 vibrantly colored 2- 5 bedroom homes built from 1971-2015. This mini-village borders both Boynton Beach and Delray Beach, and with no governing associations, residents have few restrictions and no monthly dues. Terrific for families, the twists, turns, and offshoots of the Lake Ida waterways offer adventure. Lake Eden is a part of the Palm Beach County Chain of Lakes, where nature enthusiasts can bird watch, likely to see Great Blue Heron, the elusive Roseate Spoon Bill, and an abundance of other South East Florida Birds. Most of the homes are directly located on the water and have their own private boat launch. However, there are also public boat launches at each of the 5 Lake Ida Palm Beach County Parks, and the waters are terrific for fishing peacocks and largemouth bass. Lake Eden is located west on 22nd St from Swinton ave to Lake dr, south of Mission Hill Rd. (MAP)
