Lake Colony
Lake Colony is a waterfront 55+ community in North Palm Beach. It is made up of six, 3-story condo buildings, with 206 homes in total. Buildings feature elevators, outdoor walkways, shared laundry facilities, and extra storage cages. Homes range from 484 to 990sqft, and feature 1 to 2 bedrooms, 1 to 2 bathrooms, and screened balconies. The community is managed by three separate associations, which have similar rules and regulations. The associations provide cable, a community room, an outdoor pool, shuffleboard, a picnic area, and dock access. Boat slips are offered on a first come, first serve basis for watercraft up to 30 feet. Water/electric services are available for an additional $600 annual fee. Residents have ocean access, with no fixed bridges. Lake Colony does not allow pets, and provides one assigned parking space for passenger cars/vans only. It is a little over 3 miles from public beach access, and the expansive MacArthur Beach State Park. Nearby to the north and west are the full range of shopping necessities including The Gardens Mall, and residents are only a few miles from both I-95 and the Florida Turnpike.
