Emerald Pointe a gated, 55+ community located in western Delray Beach. Constructed in the early 90s, it is comprised of single-story attached villas, and two-story condo buildings. There are 330 homes in total, and they are only available on a resale basis. Units range from 1,433 from 2,160sqft, and feature high, vaulted ceilings, 2 or 3 bedrooms, 2 or 2.5 bathrooms, Florida rooms, large master bedroom suites, and eat-in kitchens. The community is managed by Emerald Pointe Community Association, which provides cable, maintenance, security, and a full range of amenities including a resort-style pool, spa, fitness center, and spa. The association allows one small pet under 15lbs, and leasing is permitted after two years of ownership. See below under Association Information for further restrictions. Located in western Delray Beach, Emerald Pointe is conveniently located near the Florida Turnpike, and posh shopping at Delray Marketplace. A few miles to the east, residents enjoy the city's thriving downtown and sunny beaches.
