Buena Vida is an active, gated 55+ community situated on the border of Wellington and West Palm Beach. It is designed to be an upscale, peaceful oasis in comparison to hectic South Florida life. Constructed in the early 2000s, it is made up of 449 single family homes, built around a series of lakes and canals. The community is governed by Buena Vida Homeowners Association, Inc., which provides round-the-clock security, lawn care, cable/internet, and a premier set of full-service amenities. A large clubhouse area is surrounded by lakefront walking trails, tennis courts, a sprawling resort-style pool, café, gazebo, and much more. The HOA allows two non-aggressive dogs, and permits commercial/recreational vehicles if completely stored in garages. Buena Vida allows for quick access to the Florida Turnpike, I-95, the Tri-Rail/Brightline train systems, and Palm Beach International Airport. Wellington is a winter haven for equestrians and nature enthusiasts, and nearby West Palm Beach is an endless source of upscale shopping and entertainment. Nearby hubs include City Place and Worth Avenue.
