Baywinds
Baywinds is an active, gated 55+ community located between West Palm Beach and Royal Palm Beach. The community is designed to be a full-service oasis from the fast-paced South Florida lifestyle. Once through the gates, residents are met with winding, walkable streets, lush greenery, and lakefront views. Constructed in the early 2000s in a contemporary Mediterranean style, there are a range of home types available - detached single family, attached villa, attached townhomes, and multi-unit condo buildings. Homes are 1 or 2 stories, 2 to 3 bedrooms, 2 to 3 bathrooms, and range from 1,206 to 3,538 square feet. All units feature attached garage space, and condo buildings feature large shared laundry facilities. The community is comprised of 11 separate neighborhood associations, which are governed by Baywinds Community Association, Inc. The Master HOA allows two pets and leasing with some restrictions. Sandpiper Cove does not allow dogs. Application Fees and Capital Contribution Fees vary by association. All residents enjoy a broad range of resort-style amenities including an active clubhouse which hosts frequent special-interest club meetings and live events, a full-service fitness center, multiple pools, tennis courts, shuffleboard, and much more. Situated on the western border of West Palm Beach, residents enjoy easy access to the Florida Turnpike, I-95, the Brightline/Tri-Rail train systems, and Palm Beach International Airport. A few miles to the east is an endless supply of entertainment at hubs such as Clematis Street, City Place, Palm Beach Outlets, and Worth Avenue.
