Avalon Trails is a new-construction masterplan 55+ community being constructed on an old golf course in western Delray Beach. Construction began in 2020, and there are 317 homesites available. Units are a mixture of detached single family homes, and attached duplex villas, all built around a series of lakes and ponds. All units sit on spacious lots, and have attached garages. Lennar* is managing the community's construction, and offers a variety of floorplans and customization. Once completed, it will be a top example of full-service, South Florida resort-style living, centered around a large clubhouse and state-of-the-art fitness center. Residents pay reduced HOA dues until amenities are fully constructed. The HOA is pet-friendly, and permits leasing with some restrictions. Commercial and recreational vehicles are prohibited, unless stored in garages. Avalon trails is great for commuters - there are multiple community entrances which provide easy access to the Florida Turnpike, I-95, and the Tri-Rail/Brightline train systems.
